Jake
While IGN and Gamespot are usually the go-to Youtube channels for videogame reviews, there is another source I get my reviews from. That source is Classic Game Room. They don't give a score to the reviews, instead just telling you how good they thought the game was. There are several channels representing CGR, and two of them write reviews. Well, three, but two of them (Undertow and Overboard) merged.Classic Game Room features one guy. He tends to review games more lightheartedly and has a great sense of humor. However, he is absolutely terrible at gaming. It was almost painful to watch his review of Dragon Age: Origins. His reviews are very entertaining, and I find myself watching reviews of games I don't even plan on buying, just to hear his jokes. He reviews both retro games and modern games.CGR Undertow features several people. Their reviews tend to be a bit more serious. While some of them can be funny, they can't match the main guy's humor. However, they make many more reviews. If you look up almost any game, you can bet that CGR Undertow has reviewed it. They usually review modern games, but sometimes go back to the Ps2, Xbox, and Gamecube era. Personally, while I prefer Classic Game Room, I am more than happy to watch a CGR Undertow review if that's all that's available.Which do you guys prefer?
