NoHitReaper
recently been exploring old forums. this forum seems to be dead but man does it retain old nostalgia. definitely needs to be archived for future viewings like at internet archive. Anyways, if anyone still loves elder scrolls and still lurks in this forum answer this: are you excited for elder scrolls 6?
David
I've probably put more hours into the Elder Scrolls series between gaming and this website than any other collection of entertainment combined. Obviously, ES6 will be a day 1 purchase for me... But if I'm honest, they've waited too long. I'm not as hyped as I once was. It's like waiting for a GRRM book. I'm glad you're enjoying the forum. When I made it, I was scraping together loose change in high school and college to fund it and it was down constantly due to minor traffic spikes. Now it has a beefy server just because I have a real job and can afford it even though there's no traffic. 🫠 I have no plans to take it down. I enjoy reliving the good times that were had here, and every so often an old regular will reach out.
Wynn
I enjoyed looking through the site. I like places like this more than alternatives that have taken over, like reddit. It feels more focused and I, usually but not always, am less worried about users or moderators acting crazy. Maybe this will be my kick to try the Oblivion remaster. Something about it just looks off to me but I do so love Oblivion that I want to replay it again. I'm also considering getting back into Elder Scrolls Online, even if Microsoft really just sucks for the way they treated the team. EDIT: My maximum number of posts per day is 2? Bummer. I'm just going to post this here but I was going to make a suggestion in that section that the categories could be a bit cleaner imo. This is just a lazy mockup as an example but I did try to put thought into it. Category: The Community Square Forum: Franchise Lore & General Discussion Description: Overall Elder Scrolls universe lore, series theories, and franchise-wide news. Category: The Mainline Adventures Forum: Mainline Entries (Morrowind to TES VI) Description: Discussions, gameplay, and speculation for Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and upcoming mainline titles. Forum: Classic Chapters & Spinoffs Description: Discussions for Arena, Daggerfall, Battlespire, Redguard, and mobile titles like Castles or Blades. Forum: Single-Player Mods & Content Description: Load orders, recommendations, showcase, and troubleshooting for modding standalone releases. Forum: Class Builds & Combat Mechanics Description: Class builds, PvE/PvP tactics, dungeon runs, gear setups, and theorycrafting. Forum: Guild Life, Trading & Events Description: Guild recruitment, event coordination, and in-game trading. EDIT 2: Electric Boogaloo Suggestion: Maybe the sidebar should show who responded to the post rather than who made it, given how long lived this whole place is. Just a thought.

Happy to hear you've enjoyed the site! Yes, unfortunately the forum is more or less in security mode due to the severe influx of bots over the past 5 years. It started to seem like a full time job just deleting bot posts and there were essentially no real posters. However, the posting restrictions do fall off after three days. I appreciate the suggestions! If I ever get time to revive the site and get back to making content, I will certainly consider implementing something like that. Maybe with the TES 6 release!
