  1. I don't think you are able to become a werewolf again, after you have already cured yourself I'm sure there is no turning back... I could be wrong though. It probably would've been nice if Bethesda kind of thought of that a little before having you cure yourself and then come up with a expansion that makes werewolves even more bad-ass!
  2. Well I didn't have to redownload or reinstall the packs or game, it seems the only problem was the texture detail was just a tad to high for my computer, I also am able to continue the game from where my saves left off... Thanks for your help!!
  3. Finally got Skyrim back up and running!! Thanks Traaginen!!

  4. My desktop exceeds Bethesda's requirements, but I'll try lowering the graphics and possibly reinstalling the game... I'll tell you how everything works out once I'm done! Thanks for your help though!!
  5. "Regular Gamer" could work, or maybe "The Big-Hit Gamer","Big Title Gamer", "Top Star Gamer", or "The 'Only-Games-Worth-It' Gamer".
  6. So how do you "level up" in this gaming community?

      Oh, that makes sense... thanks!!

  7. Not really sure what category I would label myself... possibly somewhere in the hardcore and casual area... I don't play a large variety of games, but I guess any game I can get my hands on that is worthy of being called a true game would be where I would go, possibly a Hardcore Lite like Traaginen! I more into the gaming for the experience, such as the story or possibly graphics and maybe it being rated some of the best games.
  8. I went online one time to look for mods and Skyrim started to update the game with the high res. packs, but this would have taken too much of my modems memory, so I didn't continue the download. My desktop then ran into some problems and I couldn't use it (the power button disconnected and my dad finally fixed it after a couple months of avoiding it). I installed Skyrim on my laptop and then downloaded the packs on there because I could use Wi-Fi in other places. After my desktop was fixed and running I used my flashdrive to transfer the packs from my laptop into the Skyrim data file instead of downloading them. It then let me play Skyrim, I also transferred my save files via Steam Cloud and Mods into the game that I had on my laptop. Now, it keeps doing this continuous crashing whenever I play the game, specifically when I am in the Skyrim area or cities (outdoors pretty much), it doesn't crash indoors only outdoors. Hope this helps out more.
  9. Trying to work out dumb problem with Skyrim so I can get back to ridding the world of dragons and maybe even picking up some dragonflies for a lazy alchemist!

  10. I tried playing it with all of the mods downloaded, but it didn't work. I disabled the mods and the game still had the same problem. I even tried to start a new game, but that wound up with the same effect. The weird thing is that if I load the game when I am inside a building, it works perfectly... but once I exit that building out into the city or skyrim the game crashes on the loading screen... If I load the game when I'm in skyrim the game stays for a few seconds and then crashes to the desktop.Do you think I'm going to have to reinstall the whole game and probably actually download the packs... I've done the reinstalling several times but it still has no effect. Or is there possibly something wrong with the skyrim file itself?
  11. Okay, I will try this, but if the mods are the issue, then do you think there is a way around that or do I just have to settle with the normal game?
  12. Alright, I have been playing Skyrim for quite some time now and I have never had a crashing problem until now. Before I address the problem, I'll give you some background. Several months ago, I went online to look at some mods for Skyrim and steam started updating the game with the new patch and high res texture pack. The only problem is that it was about 2 Gb to download, and with internet service I get I can't do that because I'll go over the 5 Gb monthly limit. So I never updated it, and then it never let me play Skyrim until I finished the update. A couple months passed and my PC stopped working, so I put Skyrim on my laptop and played on there until my desktop was fixed. I got my desktop fixed and I transferred the High Res Packs from my laptop to my desktop instead of downloading the whole things. I went online and steam noticed I did that and said the packs were already in the file so it stopped the update and let me play Skyrim. Now, when I go to play the game it goes to the menu no problem and load my game, the game goes fine and then within a few seconds the game crashes to the desktop... there are no errors, nothing! I restarted the game and tried it again, but the same thing keeps happening. PLEASE HELP!! I haven't played in a while and I'm tired of all of this crashing , what do I do??
