Thanks for the help, hopefully this tactic can help with other guild bugs.

Finally fixed it by getting suspended from the College and getting the quest "Rejoining the College". I talked to Tolfdir to pay my fine to get back in the college. As soon as I exited that dialogue Ancano said I needed to follow him and I got the next quest task.

Everytime I conjure an atronach and kill it they move away and then come back. But still no talking or quest progression.

I have Xbox. And I tried all those options a few times. No dice. Seems like there is just a dialogue bug where NPCs dialogue isn't triggered when supposed to. I've been stuck in many situations where a NPC is supposed to start talking to me and won't.

I just waited closely infront of them for about 10 minutes and nothing happened. Their mouths don't even move. I think I have a dialogue bug which is messing with a lot of my quests..

In the College of Winterhold quests, Good Intentions, I am stuck towards the beginning when you first speak to Tolfdir. My objective is to "Listen to Tolfdir" while he talks about the Eye of Magnus. Instead he just stares at it until Ancano comes in and they just stare at eachother. I can't progress in the is quest now or finish the College of Winterhold.

In the Thieves Guild quest, Speaking With Silence, I have encountered a game-breaking bug.Towards the very end I have gotten to a Dragon Claw Door. Mercy Frey is supposed to open that door, but he will not. He just stands there and has only one dialogue option.Since he won't open the door, I cannot finish the Thieves Guild, also he follows me everywhere I go. Anywhere I try sneaking he will run in and blow my cover. Also, with Mercer following me, I cannot finish the main quest, The Fallen.Just seeing if you could help at all, thank you.
